Do the Following Slowly and Smoothly. 

On ONE:    INHALE and let the abdomen expand OUTWARD.

On TWO, THREE, and FOUR:    Slowly EXHALE.  The abdomen collapses INWARD.                                                 

On FIVE:    Let the diaphragm rest.   Repeat.
